Why America is riddled with obesity.
America and American’s as a whole have the wrong philosophy why it comes to weight loss and health. Instead of addressing root issues that will help solve your problems, we deal with symptoms.
For example: American’s are among the worlds most time-stricken and stressed people on the planet.
So instead of easing up on ourselves, we search for convenience.
We all need to eat, so when we reach for something to satisfy us we grab “fast-food” or “processed food”.
Root = over-stressed. Symptom = convenience.
That convenient option is why we are obese. We have changed the way our bodies value food.
Instead of food being for nutrition, energy and sustenance… we only care about convenience and taste.
That convenient and tasty food has direct association behind why we are dealing with obesity in America.
Fast food has been on the rise since the 50’s/60’s and so has almost every disease/condition in America, specifically cancers and heart disease.
You don’t have to be a scientist to see the correlation, it’s not: eggs, meat, dairy, it’s: processed food plaguing us.
So. “what should we do?”.
Become aware of the real foods causing issues like: processed foods.
Increase your intake of: Natural food sources that you need to make on your own.
It may take more time to prepare/prep, however you’re adding more quality years in your life now and in the future.
If quality/quantity of life is important to you, I highly suggest you make the very simple switch.
